Oona Health Achieves Global Gold Medal for Sustainability 

We were awarded gold for our focus on rights for workers, the environment, climate, sustainable procurement, and ethical operation of Oona Health and subsidiary companies.

The insurance company Oona Health and its subsidiaries supply the Danish and Swedish markets with health insurance and is one of the largest providers in the Nordic region. 

- The well-being and health of our customers is the cornerstone of our business. We want to live up to global standards for sustainability in all aspects of our modern and innovative private health insurance company, says Kent Jensen, CEO of Oona Health, and subsidiaries Dansk Sundhedssikring, PrimaCare, and DSS Hälsa. We are grateful and proud to achieve this gold medal from EcoVadis. 

EcoVadis is a global labelling scheme for corporate sustainability. Last year, Oona Health and its subsidiaries received a silver medal. This year we got a gold medal for our extra focus on workers' rights.

- As a supplier to +550,000 Danes and Swedes, we must be at the forefront of social responsibility. The ethical operation of our business is a core focus for us. I am delighted that our hard work has resulted in gold from EcoVadis, says Kent Jensen.
